The Club at Monroe

Fantastic experience: We hosted my mom’s retirement party at The Club! It was the perfect location. They had a great sized party room with tables and couches. The women who worked there helped us set up, took pictures, helped cleaned up, and overall made sure the party was running smoothly! We also used there golf simulators! Throughout the planning process they were extremely accommodating, answered all our questions, and just great to work with! Everyone had a great time playing pickleball and socializing! Truly cannot recommend this place enough, it was a perfect day!!

Fantastic experience: I recently threw a birthday party with 50+ attendees for my boyfriend at The Club at Monroe & the day far exceeded my expectations. Inessa, Erica & crew know what they’re doing with party planning. It was a relief to not have to worry about setup & cleanup & to be able to enjoy the party. The Club provided so many activities for those not interested in pickleball (corn hole, ping pong, giant Yahtzee, giant connect four, giant kerplunk, giant jenga & giant guess who). When I was searching for facilities to hold the party at, that was the biggest draw to The Club - that they offered so much more than other pickleball facilities. I didn’t know then that they would deliver on so many other levels, as well. Their facility is clean, attractive, has multiple seating areas and tv’s. They offer a private party room. They offer a pickleball instructor if desired. Our instructor, Claudio, was wonderful. Erica is on top of it - she would find me when it was time to announce lunch, when it was time for cake, etc. I didn’t have to worry about a single thing. They even provided a microphone so I could make an impromptu speech! Tip: go with renting the entire pickleball facility if possible. You won’t regret it.

Fantastic experience: Just wanted to give a shout out to the Club and their golf pro Chris. This past winter I decided to get serious with my golf game . I signed up to use the golf simulator and Mike introduced me to their golf pro Chris. What an amazing experience. The Club is top notch, so many nice people, and geeking out on the simulator is amazing. Chris truly changed my outlook on golf and my game completely. I'm striking the ball with confidence, and accuracy, and increased my drives by 50 yards. Lowered my handicap from 16 to 8 just this winter. I highly recommend the Club and Chris. What a great experience!!

Fantastic experience: We recently had our daughter’s birthday at The Club at Monroe. Everyone was so easy /flexible to work with, and Coach Joe (my daughter’s favorite pickleball coach) did an amazing job introducing pickleball to the kids! The facility is fantastic and the party room was perfect for our party of 11 kids. The Club coordinated delicious Italian food for the party and provided plates and paper goods that went with our Harry Potter theme. My daughter loves coming here for classes, but she especially loved her birthday celebration!

Fantastic experience: I had an incredible experience here hosting my husband’s 31st Padel birthday. Everything was so seamless from the moment I booked this to when I arrived. A special shout out to Erica Rosenberg who is the owner of this establishment, She was so kind and helpful throughout the event. Everything was well organized from the moment I arrived with a whiteboard, allowing me to write down the team names, two tables for our food and drinks, The aux cord so that we could control the music, and access to the television to play anything we wanted. If you’re looking to throw an event I highly recommend this place. Management is the best. Igor, the coach also explained the rules to all of our friends prior to starting and constantly checked in on us.

Fantastic experience: We were here for my daughter's 12th birthday yesterday. Three pickleball courts were reserved for 10 guests with two instructors available to coach players with variable skills. The party room is cozy and well equipped. It has views of the pickleball courts. Everyone had a great time. The owners Erica and Mike are super friendly, good communicators, and provided hands-on assistance throughout our party. I am glad that I've found this place, will definitely recommend it to people looking for a fun venue for parties of different age groups! Thank you Erica and Mike for making Vivienne's day special!

The staff is friendly and welcoming, and booking a time could not be easier—availability is always great. Fantastic experience: A friend of mine invited me to the Club at Monroe to try their Trackman station, and I loved it so much that I joined the club for golf on the spot. I previously tried Golfcave so I am familiar with the setting and the equipment. I found the setting at the club at Moroe comparable to Golfcave except that at Golfcave each station is in a separate room which gives you more privacy. What really attracted me the most at the Club at Monroe is that the program (I have the Birdie program) gives you more than enough time (2 hours per day) to practice at no extra cost. Since joining the club in July I have used it more than a dozen times (could have been there more if not for the injuries I had recently) without any issue to book a station. Recently they have switched to a new system of booking which took me a couple of times to get used to, and Mike was super helpful at guiding me through the process. The staff there was alway friendly and Mike is super helpful. I highly recommend the golf program at the Club at Monroe. I have done so to a few friends of mine.

Fantastic experience: Best Private Party Ever – Thanks to Erica and Her Amazing Team! I hosted a private surprise birthday party at The Pickleball Club at Monroe, and it was truly one of the most fun and well-organized events I’ve ever been a part of! From the very beginning, Erica—the owner—went above and beyond to make sure every last detail was perfect. We worked together to decorate the party room and set up the food. During the entire party, my husband and I were able to enjoy our guests simply. She took the time to personalize the experience, ensuring that guests of all pickleball skill levels—from first-timers to seasoned players—felt welcome, engaged, and most importantly, had an absolute blast. Her passion and attention to detail were evident in every part of the event. The courts were in fantastic condition, the atmosphere was upbeat and inclusive, and the entire staff was friendly, helpful, and on top of everything. Whether guests were playing, laughing on the sidelines, or just soaking it all in, the whole experience was unforgettable. Huge thanks again to Erica and her team.

Fantastic experience: The Club at Monroe is such an amazing facility and 5 Stars is not enough to do it justice. I’ve been a member since it opened and it’s also my second home as I spend several days a week there. Each time I’ve had to compete somewhere else, it actually makes me appreciate it even more for its cleanliness, aesthetics and innovative spaces. The programs and staff are incredible! The owners Mike and Erica have poured their hearts out into this family business and in turn have created a very special place that reflects their passion in everything they do. I’m so grateful to be a part of their pickleball community and highly recommend The Club to everyone as you will have an amazing experience from the second you walk in until you walk out.

Fantastic experience: I never thought I’d say this about any sports facility, but the Pickleball Club at Monroe is one of my favorite places to be. As a highly unathletic 50 something, I had my reservations about even trying pickleball, but it has been a great experience right from my initial lessons with Steve and Joe to the leagues and lessons run by Sue and Pam. If you aren’t looking to commit to a league, Greg’s organized Friday night open plays are not to be missed. Sing along to the 70s and 80s while playing social and challenging games arranged by level. Now, about a year and a half later, after some lessons, leagues and open plays, l can actually call myself decent at a sport for the first time in my life! Enough about me…. The Club has ten well-maintained and air conditioned pickleball courts and, unlike some neighboring facilities, each court is surrounded by permanent fencing to minimize errant balls from other courts. The courts are bright and clean, and the sitting/viewing area is updated and very pleasant. A few places have opened near me in the past year, and I’ve tried them all. The Club at Monroe is still my favorite. The Club is always looking for ways to improve and the latest additions of Padel courts and golf simulators provide a uniqueness that other clubs don’t have. Padel is a combination of tennis and squash. I had never heard of it before, but recently discovered that it’s even more popular than Pickleball around the world. The Club at Monroe is one of only a handful of places in the tri-state area that you can try it and if you’re looking for a new, challenging and fast paced sport, this is definitely for you! To garner interest, The Club offers free intro sessions with Igor, the resident Padel expert. I’ve had a blast trying it out and joining some open plays! As for the golf simulators, I have to admit that I’m not a golfer, but friends have told me that the simulators are pretty incredible. While some might just be focused on the courts, which are very nice, I’d like to mention that the general atmosphere at the club is welcoming and friendly. It’s the kind of place where after a very short time, “Everybody knows your name.” You often find the owners, Erica and Mike at the club, and their in-laws/parents Lynne and Alan welcoming you with a quip and a smile as you check-in. The Club at Monroe is a place run by family, where you feel like family, and I can’t recommend it enough.

The food was delicious, the venue was clean and welcoming, and the atmosphere was just perfect for both kids and parents. The padel lesson and game were a huge hit — the trainers were professional, patient, and made it so much fun for everyone. The kids had an amazing time, and it was wonderful to see them so engaged and active. Even the parents got to join in, which made the experience even more special. Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming to The Club for pickleball over a year now and I really enjoy coming here. The owners and the staff have always been welcoming and encouraging. The courts are nice, climate controlled and clean. I’ve taken various clinics from pretty much all of the pros. They really helped me improved my game. I take private lessons with Igor …he always ask how were my games and we target skills that I need to work on. I also have been part of the leagues that Pam and Sue offer. They do drills in the beginning and then they coached the games. It’s a great way to meet other players at your skill level and learn something as well. I love the new area with the golf simulators and The Padel. I highly recommend coming to The Club at Monroe

Fantastic experience: My wife and I began playing the Open Plays here, about 6 months into our pickleball journey. We found the groups lively, fun and talented. This Club had more to offer, as we found the coaching staff particularly effective. Igor, Glenn,Pam,Claudio, Sue,Greg, and Joe are amazing coaches. We've been actively working with them over the past year. With their help we were taught how to handle former Tennis players and Lobbing Larry's. We are now comfortable competing on any court. When we began this was not possible. There were many games where we were 2-11 and some Pickles, not in our favor. Now we are constantly in the game, either winning or 8-11 matches. We would not trade the experience and knowledge shared in the lessons, practiced in the drills, and strategy from the great Staff. If you want to improve your game. This is where I would tell you to go.

I run a group of 200/plus players and every single one of us are very satisfied and happy in this family oriented club. Staff I always welcoming you with a smile. The amenities of this place are amazing. Gym,Paddle courts golf it just doesn’t get any better than that. Come check it out you will fall in love and never leave this club just like me.

Fantastic experience: I have been playing pickleball for three years and have played at The Club at Monroe since its inception. For many reasons I love playing there! The staff and pros are great to work with. The courts are roomy and the lighting is very good. The temperature is always comfortable not matter what the temperature is outside. The facility is kept clean at all times. They have good programming addressing the needs of all levels. I highly recommend this facility!

Fantastic experience: Mike and Erica helped organize our 70+ person round robin tournament event with their 10 pickleball courts. They took care of everything for us, including the outside catering set-up. Being an event planner for over 15 years, I have had few interactions with such a helpful and flexible venue. Everything was easily accessible with plenty of parking. They've also updated their function space for food and the space is beautiful, including their new padel courts! We can't wait to go back next year!

The coaches are skillful and do an excellent job teach, coaching and training. It is an excellent value when measured against the competition. The reception staff is terrific. Whether you're just getting started with padel or an advanced player, they make sure you're looked after. They also have amazing pickleball courts, tennis courts, and even golf simulators; so there’s something for everyone. It’s an awesome spot to play, chill, and just enjoy yourself. Fantastic experience: I love the Club at Monroe. I play pickleball there at least 5 days a week. The facility is very clean and aesthetically pleasing. There are 10 courts which allow for a lot of options such as coach play, leagues, skills training and court rentals. All the coaches are outstanding. All the staff are knowledgeable and super helpful and accommodating. The Club is currently expanding to offer padel and golf simulators. The owners are great and always looking to offer a great experience for their members.

They are not only highly skilled but also kind, patient, and genuinely invested in helping players improve. I had the opportunity to “play with the pro,” and it was a fantastic experience—both educational and a lot of fun. I also participated in the 30s and 3.5+ play and was impressed by the skill level of the players and the great coaching provided. It was not only competitive but also just plain fun! If you’re looking to take your pickleball game to the next level or simply enjoy a great time on the court, I highly recommend Monroe Pickleball Club.

Fantastic experience: I can’t say enough about the Pickleball Club at Monroe and Coach Pam. The women’s league on Wednesdays and Fridays from 12:00 - 2:00 is great - good competition but also a lot of fun. Coach Pam is excellent, as she’s helped my game come a long way. She teaches new drills and strategies every week. I definitely recommend her and the club!

There is a noticeable disparity between members who approach the game casually for exercise and social enjoyment, and those who adopt a more competitive stance. This dichotomy can lead to occasional tensions on the court. For instance, during a recent game, executing a forceful overhead shot – a standard competitive play – resulted in visible displeasure from an opponent who seemed to prefer a less intense style of play. (Play with a Pro) To address these issues and further refine the overall experience, I would respectfully suggest that the club consider implementing guidelines on offering advice during recreational play and perhaps create separate sessions for casual and competitive play. This could help in managing player expectations and interactions more effectively. In conclusion, the Monroe Pickleball Club's strengths in facilities, apparent quality of instruction, and diverse membership significantly outweigh its shortcomings. Positive experience: Great venue, overly busy and crowded. Some courts are tight. Closed fenced and and close walls behind courts.

Fantastic experience: I love everything about PCM. The facility is new and beautiful. The coaches are excellent. The staff is friendly and informative. And, the programming is a good mix of classes, open play, and leagues. It is a great fit for players of all levels.

Fantastic experience: My goto place for playing Pickleball both for leisure games and training. Friendly staff and instructors.

Positive experience: Nice people. Well designed space. A bit tight. A bit more light would be good. A bit cool inside the place although it was 62 degrees outside when I was there. Hopefully in the dead of winter when it is 35 degrees outside, the heating in the place will be good.

Fantastic experience: The courts are awesome and it's a great experience. You can check in with the app at the front desk so you can get right to pickling. They clearly love and care about pickleball. The courts are brand new so the condition is great. The fences and walls are a little too close to the courts in my opinion but it doesn't affect most of the plays. Also the balls still bounce into your court from other people's courts but there's not much you can do about that. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It's the best place to play pickleball in this area from what I can tell. I think it will keep improving. The waiting area between games is awesome and there is a dink practice wall.
