Fantastic experience: We rented 4 inflatable stand up paddle boards and took them out on Lake Tetonka. It was a blast! The rentals were in great shape. 100% recommend!

Negative experience: I'm down for checking out any business that involves kayaking or canoeing. This business is literally unfindable plus their hours only open Fridays and Saturdays. Third time I've tried to find this place with money in my pocket. I'm over it

Fantastic experience: I went on the Friday Happy Hour float on 6/3/22. I had signed up myself and my foreign exchange student. We ended up being the only people that day and Bent River Outfitter's didn't cancel on us because of it! I was very grateful for that as it was the only day I could take my student before she left for home. I was a beautiful day to go down the river and we had a blast! Will definitely will do it again!

Fantastic experience: The owner Dean was gracious enough to give me a private shopping date after I had driven 2 hrs only to find out they were closed and moving locations. I was so disappointed I couldn't see the kayak I wanted. He and Riley were very knowledgeable and helped guide me in what I really needed. Great people. I brought a friend with and we both bought the BKC 285.

Fantastic experience: What an amazing experience!! My husband and I booked a snowshoeing day and had the most wonderful time! Neither of us is terribly outdoorsy and found the whole day so accessible and doable. From the shoe fitting at the shop to the knowledgeable and personable guides (Jake and Ray), I really felt like they wanted us to have a great time. We saw frozen waterfalls and were totally immersed in a nature experience we absolutely would not have had on our own. The s’mores at the end helped too! This was an effective antidote to the winter blues. I would 10/10 recommend this.

Fantastic experience: Had a great tour from Land of Memories park to Riverfront Park. We brought our own Kayaks, but you can rent them as well and they come with paddles and life jackets. Only paid $20 since it was a shorter trip. Would be fun to do a longer trip in the future!

Fantastic experience: An amazing company! I called and asked about their rates and scheduling for my kids and myself. They aren't open on Tuesdays and usually require a $200 min for shuttle, but they gave us an amazing deal and shuttled us both ways. Everyone was incredibly nice and friendly. Joe, who was driving the shuttle, was so knowledgeable about the area, made sure we had water, offered to stop by hyvee on our way so we could get snacks, and gave us a lot of good suggestions on where to eat and other fun things to do in the area. You can tell that the owner really loves his business and wants to provide great service to get other people to love the water as much as he does. My son said that if I could to give them 10 stars. They definitely deserve it and we will always use them when we come to Mankato. Thanks for making one day of our vacation amazing, Bent River Outfitters!

Fantastic experience: My daughter and I went on a guided tour. We are rookie kayakers. Jake was are guide. He was incredibly knowledgeable and patient. We had a fabulous time and enjoyed the peaceful tour. I recommend the tour to anyone who wants to learn more about nature.

Fantastic experience: My husband and my son really enjoyed our little excursion last Friday. We called same day early afternoon to see if we were able to rent some kayaks and they were able to accommodate us same day. They drive you to location on river and pick up the kayaks when you arrive.. Everyone that helped us were very friendly!!! Definitely would rent again.

Fantastic experience: We were in town to watch my son play ball (he’s a MoonDog for the summer). We wanted to do something different on his day off and this was perfect!! It was the coolest thing we did in Mankato, besides the MoomDogs! Adam was fabulous with advice of places to stop on the river! Make sure you stop at the waterfalls!! They are beautiful! A must do if you are in the area!!

Fantastic experience: I had not been to the new retail store until yesterday. I loved it. This is just a great location for renting watercraft for a day on the Minnesota River. They also rent fat tire bikes and have a small, but nice retail selection. I am impressed.
