Pine Valley Swim & Tennis Club: Reviews
Fantastic experience: Nice mix of peaceful relaxation (adult warm pool, trees surrounding the place, never too crowded) with fun things to do (kid areas and pools, water slide, hiking trail, yoga studio, various racquet sport courts). If you like tennis or pickleball, or might want to try, it's a very inviting atmosphere. Great that you can bring in your own alcohol and food if you want.
Negative experience: Too bad I can’t give it zero stars. Went for a tour this morning, scheduled to meet frank in the parking lot and of course he wasn’t there. I waited around and his mom came out and had to go get him. They both acted like they didn’t care and his words were it’s just 5 minutes if you want to end it that’s fine I don’t care. What manager says that to a potential customer? I was really looking forward to it as well. Scheduled a tour shows up late acts like I’m bothering him and then says he doesn’t care. DONT BOTHER!!! this response was so unprofessional and untrue. absolutely no one greeted me in the parking lot except for your mom who didn't even know who I was and acted like I didn't belong there. everyone does have bad days however you have no idea how to handle yourself in a professional manor. you argued with your mom at the door and then finally made your way outside and acted like you didn't give a crap that I was there for a tour, you had a terrible attitude and then put your hands up and said we can end this I don't care.My music with my windows up has nothing to do with any of this but as far as my music goes, I can listen to my music as loud as I want especially with my windows up yet you have people that want to complain about it as they walk by my car sitting in the parking lot. if that is how your members are with people in the parking lot, I can only imagine how they are in the actual facility. YOUR A JOKE!!!! if your mother wouldn't have come outside you would have never showed up for the tour you scheduled. its pretty sad you tell someone you would meet them at a specific time and don't show up. BE A PROFESSIONAL and show up for the appts you schedule and these kind of things wouldn't happen.
We all have bad days. However, the level of anger that arose from George seemed a bit over the top. An older woman coming to her yoga class greeted George as she passed by and he totally ignored her and commented to the yoga teacher upon her arrival about the man in the parking lot. Frank's 88 year-old mother asked if she could help him and he angrily commented to her that Frank was "a minute late". She also witnessed (and shared with the yoga class she attended) how angry he was when Frank approached, greeted George with an extended hand and apologized he was a little late. Frank's mom could not believe George's response. Another yoga student commented that he was playing his music really loud. As a family owned and operated, private facility, we wish to cultivate a caring, safe, family fun community. The woman who commented about George's behavior live in the community.
Negative experience: Once loved it here, and I'm questioning myself as to why I joined this year?!?!?! I'm VERY disappointed there is an over-infestation of mosquitoes around the lower pool area near the snack bar! Yesterday, arrived at 5:45pm and between 6-7pm was just trying to relax on a lounge chair under the canopy area near snack bar.....left with 19 mosquito bites on my ankles, front & back of legs and up to the back thigh area (guess it was from under the lounge chair I was sitting on). Today, these bites are welts! Please cut back on some of the greenery which is overgrown on the fences around the canopy area. Please grow herbs or plants that discourage the infestation of mosquito nests. And please have the closing lifeguards scrub the walls of the pool AFTER EVERYONE is out of the pool not while ANYONE is still in the pool. IF this swim club is short-staffed, ASK us (your members, especially the members who forever sit, drink booze & urinate in the Soaking Pool) to volunteer in helping improve the, more noticeable, worn down, unsanitary and unkempt conditions (bath houses). Remind members and/or guests to pickup their trash, (HINT: receptacles are provided AND are visibly stationed) from themselves AND their children. No one should have to walk through people's trash left around the lounge chairs. Need help skimming the pool so swimmers are not swimming through debris atop the pool water? Need help checking the ph balance of the pool water (no one is doing this) OR help with chlorinating the pools? Repair the hole (with a tall lifeguard chair placed above it) in the concrete right next to the 4ft depth side of pool.......how many more years until it is repaired or proceeds to enlarge more than it did from last year??? CLOSE down the Snack Bar OR only sell drinks. The items purchased (from Costco or BJ's) are WAY overpriced, as if items are intentionally priced high to discourage or to punish members and/or guests for inconveniencing staff members for a drink or snack. And don't sell Dominick's (Buy 1 get 1 free) pizzas left over from a birthday celebration OR from a camp event.....THIS IS dishonest on MANY levels, especially when it's sold under the impression that it is a normal "Snack Bar" offered item. DRAIN the Soaking Pool and SCRUB the concrete benches to remove the many butt cheek fluorescent urination stains of those who sit for hours upon hours. This Soaking Pool should be renamed the "Sit-In Booze Urination Pool"...... I get that we, members and/or guests, are paying to swim in your backyard pools.....but help us help you "IF" Pickle Ball is too preoccupying of your attention.
Fantastic experience: This is a very nice place for kids. I can hear from my home those happy and joyful noises. The owners are friendly too.
Fantastic experience: Best PB court experience for the buck. Great group of folks with a wide range of skill level. Management very interested in growing the sport and the community!
Fantastic experience: Great laid back pickleball atmosphere
Fantastic experience: Great place and great folks
Positive experience: Great swim club with many amenities for members. Beautiful pickle ball and tennis courts as well
Fantastic experience: Very nice place though the entrance/concession staff are young and have very little if any personality. Almost like robots with a default setting of 'miserable'. That would be my only complaint.
Negative experience: I used to go to this camp when I was a child, I remeber the owner one time came up to me and yelled at me as a child many years ago to the point where I cried, he taking out his anger on us because we were tired of being outside in the sun all day since we were exhausted while we were sitting down in the shade and not doing the planned actvities. I would not recommend this anyone to send their children to this summer day camp. Many years later I still remeber the few adults who took their anger out on children at this camp particularly the owner. Thanks for giving me this wonderful memory for the rest of my life. Thought I would leave a review.
Fantastic experience: Best pool ever, a hidden gem.
Fantastic experience: Pklbll rox here So much fun

Fantastic experience: So much water
Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Pine Valley since I was a child. The paddle sports are amazing, filled with such fun people! You can find a league that suits your ability level, competition needs, and day/time for paddle or tennis. Pickleball is a newer addition and Pine Valley has added extra courts to accommodate this quickly growing sport. As for the pools; there is something for everyone. Whether you have a family, or are just an adult, there are pools perfect for you! Again, the regulars are the best people and are welcoming to anyone coming in to hang out (especially in the adult relaxing pool). I cannot day enough about this amazing family run oasis! Go check it out. You won’t be disappointed!
Positive experience: Pretty nice pool. Disappointed there was no diving boards and the grass and bushes by the park are unkempt but besides that it's a great pool and area. They also have this little course which was fun but on the slide I had to literally scoot myself to the end. Tennis and basketball courts, ping pong, and volleyball are also there and it's pretty nice. They lend you balls to play with so you dont need to bring your own but you probably should.
Fantastic experience: One of the best swim clubs I’ve been to. My kids love this place. There’s plenty of room on the pool decks and I can always find a good spot to relax while my kids have fun
Fantastic experience: Pine Valley is great place to spend lazy summer days! They have a terrific water slide, adult pool, gator pool, and a nice size main pool.
Positive experience: Very nice!
Fantastic experience: Always a good time
Fantastic experience: My family and I enjoy spending time at Pine Valley. The frog pool and triple loop slide are fun. We also like playing tennis, paddle tennis and table tennis. The people are really nice.
Fantastic experience: Family friendly. They raise prices way too much. Otherwise great place.
Fantastic experience: Amazing! So many different things to do, besides swim!
Negative experience: Needs to be updated and cleaned!! Jungle gym was over grown with ivy. The lower playground where the water shoots up was dirty, I put the baby in it and little black particles floated up, I can only imagine the dirt in the water buckle that spills over has in it. I have white paint all over my back and knees from playing in the baby pool with the mushroom. Expected more for a $800 membership
Fantastic experience: Always a great time, kids love it
Fantastic experience: The owners have a great heart and I would have loved to have played here as a child!
Positive experience: Has a water slide
Fantastic experience: Always a pleasant and beautiful!
Fantastic experience: Awesome place. Great paddle great people
Negative experience: At first, I admit that I really loved this place. However, during our last visit we had a major scare when one of our 4 year olds fell into the water. He couldn't swim, struggled, and was quickly fully submerged. The lifeguards didn't do a thing. They didn't even notice that one of the kids was drowning, and after he was pulled out (not by any of the pool staff), they didn't check on him or take an incidence report. It was a good thing someone else had an eye out, because otherwise who knows what would've happened. When we spoke to the manager, he neglected the issue with excuses such as 'the life guards are only teenagers' and such. Horrifying behavior on behalf of the lifeguards and management. Thankfully, our little one is okay, but I would advise finding another pool that takes safety seriously.
Fantastic experience: Fun and family friendly. Great water hole for all ages.
Negative experience: The Manger was very Rude, and tried to charge my daughter a extra $99.00 when she already paid $347.50 for 3 hours, then to top it off the party started a whole hour late..3pm-7pm.No it was 4pm-7pm..
Positive experience: Cleam
Fantastic experience: Beautiful Swim Club
Fantastic experience: Best pool around. Family oriented. Not uptight about having a beer. Great adult whirlpool. Slides. Water balloon fights. Grills. Feels like home
Fantastic experience: This place is awesome
Positive experience: How much is it
