Negative experience: Get more and better staff
Fantastic experience: Adorable! Great for girls night... guys night... team building... family time... love that there was a bar in the middle of the place. Huge arcade that rivals many other places... but the food selection...was perfection... tacos, loaded fries, Cobb salad with blue cheese, pizza, sliders... yeah we got all of it... and it was delicious. The guys that made our food were so nice. Everything was so thoughtfully done. Had 2 drinks broke a sweat, ate some food with my girlfriends n we didn't even do everything. Did I mention it was a Wednesday? Wonderful fun, gunna drag my teenager here this weekend!
Fantastic experience: Great Venue for pickleball and more! I'm there at least 4 times a week. Super friendly accommodating staff like Mgr Corey who's always gives us a friendly greeting , always willing to listen and help make our experience better. Couldn't ask for a better experience! We've been playing there since June with our senior group, who all love it. Some have brought or planning to bring their grandkids to play the duck pins, ping pong, and darts as well as all the lawn games. We have and friends we've introduced pickleball too, and all have enjoyed Picklenpins! It's a bonus that they've adjusted prices for the summer and we're getting great value, convenience, and an accommodating bar and great nibbles! Can't recommend it enough! Try it, you'll be back for more. UPDATE! I can't say enough about PicklenPins! Our group is still going strong! This week alone, we were playing pickleball 4 times this week so far. We are so happy there and our Pickleball players are progressing exponentially! We held a End of Summer social and Corey and his Team had all of our food ready ASAP, right after our impromptu tournament! PickleNPins is ON The Ball!!! So much to do for the Whole Family, friendly welcoming Staff and those pork sliders and the new Thin Crust Pizza are delicious!! #PicklenpinsIZthe best! Our group is growing every week, adding to new players and introducing them to Pickleball and this is the place to do it!! Dink, Volley, Sip, Serve, Snack, Enjoy, Repeat! We're here 3 days a week regularly and pop in all the time! It's a great community!

Negative experience: If I could leave zero stars I would. Went for my friend’s birthday party and got 7 brew for the group before going in. When I got to the door there was a sign that said no outside food or drink. I was holding a cake and all the 7 brew drinks in my hands so I went inside to put the cake down and give my friends their 7brew and tell them we need to drink it outside. They were in the middle of ordering food, so I sat the 7 brew on the table nearest to the front door and stood by it waiting for them to be done. The bald man that works behind the bar approached me to tell me that no outside food or drink is allowed. I told him okay and that as soon as my friends were done ordering at the kiosk that was 2 feet away from us that we would go outside. 30 seconds later he picked up my friends full drinks off the table and threw them away. I have no problem with rules being enforced, but I think that it is totally inappropriate to touch and discard someone’s personal items without permission. I would have rathered him tell me that if I didn’t take the drinks outside immediately, then I would be forced to leave instead of touching and throwing away my stuff. The whole interaction was completely unprofessional in my opinion and really tainted my entire experience. Will not be back.

When the team member approached you after you acknowledged the signage upon entrance, it seems as if you were given time to either take the drinks outside or enjoy them outside in accordance with our no outside food or drink policy, which is posted on our doors and inside the facility.
After the policy was not followed, the drinks had to be discarded. These policies are in place for specific reasons related to our food and drink vendors, and we are required to enforce them to ensure compliance and safety for all guests. We apologize that the situation wasn’t handled in a way that felt respectful, and we’ll be reviewing this with our team to make sure enforcement is professional while still following our rules.

Negative experience: The 1 star is just for the food experience alone. I ordered nachos with fried chicken, when my order was ready there was no fried chicken, I shrugged it off, sat down and started eating the nachos, the cheese was very cold and gritty. That made me get up and go back to the kitchen to let them know that my food is cold and the chicken was missing to which they rudely scoffed and said “took you long enough to come up here” mind you, it wasn’t even 5 minutes after I sat down, I got back up. They remade my nachos and the cheese was still cold as ice with the hot chicken on top. It ruined my entire experience there, we will not return.

Fantastic experience: Visited in August 9, 2025 for a family night out and had a blast! Pickle N Pins has 6 indoor pickleball courts, plus padel, duck pin bowling, Krazy Darts, axe throwing, and an arcade. The courts are in great shape, and the staff was friendly and helpful. While we played pickleball, the kids bowled and played games—perfect setup for keeping everyone entertained. Food and drinks are served on site, making it easy to stay and enjoy the night. Court rentals are about $40, so it’s more of a social experience than a budget drop-in, but worth it for all the variety and atmosphere. Fantastic experience: I always have a good time when I come here. The staff is wonderful. Especially Monet! We celebrated my birthday there and she was alone working the counter and the bar but she was still extremely helpful and had a great attitude!

Negative experience: To start, I usually have a great time here every time I come here, which is usually at 1-2 times a week. My grievance this time is related to the food/drinks situation. I’ve brought outside snacks/food in before, multiple times. For reasons unknown to me, 8/8/25 at about 2200, my half eaten Chipotle bowl that contained double chicken was thrown away by the manager. I was not in the middle of a game. He walked behind me & started collecting the food. I turned over and said “hey, I still have food in there.” He replies bluntly “you can’t have outside food in here” as he continues to grab the bag and other drinks on the table. There was no opportunity to take my stuff outside nor did his tone suggest any sympathy for this new rule or enforcement of rule. On my way out of the establishment, I looked at the door that I had originally entered and did NOT see any sign saying “No Outside Food” (see pictures). Are there other entrances? Sure. But if no outside food is the rule, there should be a sign at the doors so I can turn around to put my food away. Usually a 4* place but yesterday was a 2* experience.

When the food was left unattended, our team cleared the table of the remaining items. While we understand it may not have been clear from the door you entered, our management team did speak with you before any action was taken.

Negative experience: The food was cold and not good. & for $6 a taco .. we were pretty upset they barely had anything on it especially the steak one. The drinks were pricy. Beers started at $7. Half the machines were malfunctioning. The staff wasn’t welcoming or helpful with the exception of the bartender. It was empty and they didn’t have a lot to do honestly. The bowling area was mini pins and balls.. very disappointed. It’s not a spot you would plan to spend your day at or have as a date night. I guess we were expecting more. We wasted money and didn’t really have fun, and left hungry after buying food.

It looks like you ordered the Grilled Carne Asada taco, which includes angus beef, cheese, onion, and cilantro. Typically, each taco comes with 4–5 pieces of meat. From the photo you provided, it appears the taco may have already been partially eaten, so it's difficult for us to assess the portion accurately.
We would have needed to see it as it was served in order to properly address the concern, but we’re happy to look into it further if you reach out directly.
As for our activities, duckpin bowling is a unique experience, and we do describe how it works on our website to help guests know what to expect. That said, we understand it’s not for everyone. In addition to duckpin, we offer pickleball, padel, axe throwing, darts, and a variety of free courtyard games like Connect 4, washers, table tennis, and cornhole for those looking for something more laid-back.

Positive experience: Didn’t get my 100 ounce of beer 72ounce maybe. Need better cocktail waitress. Also asked for oranges twice, get none. Still charged full price. Second review. 3 stars best service I got in the city of hospitality! 3 stars for neutral. And I can upgrade to 5 stars. I can tip, depends on the service! Yall know for sure I can tip!

Fantastic experience: We have been several times already. Courts are super nice and the food is priced good and delicious. We got the pizza it was great. Just wish the bar tender was always available when open. I have yet to see them.

Negative experience: Very disappointed when you buy a game card it's only for the arcade not for any of the other activities but no one tells you that. Food even though it was tasty was a rip off because the website shows you get two tacos for $6, they only served us one. I probably won't be back.

Fantastic experience: To be honest, I don’t really understand the negative reviews on here about Pickle N Pins. I’ve only played here a couple of times, and I’ve never had a problem with my play time or with anything at all. Service is nice, courts are clean, and the inside aesthetic gives off a chill vibe. The pricing for courts are actually pretty decent if you split it up with your fellow players. Not to mention, they serve food and drinks here too (the club sandwich here is really good). I can’t speak for anyone else, but I had a good time playing here and I’d honestly come back again whenever I have the chance.

Negative experience: Pickle and Pins was a major disappointment. The place was clearly understaffed — we waited far too long for cold food! , The service throughout was slow and careless. No one seemed interested in checking in or addressing basic needs at the table. To make matters worse, the food came out cold, as if it had been sitting out for a while. When we brought it up, the staff didn’t seem to care or offer any solution. What’s most frustrating is the pricing. For what they charge, you’d expect at least decent service and hot food. Instead, we paid premium prices for a mediocre experience. Between the poor customer service, cold food, and high rates, this place isn’t worth the visit. Definitely won’t be back.

Negative experience: We took the family and kids at 11:20ish pm. The hours of operation listed the place open till 1am, which it is not and clearly false advertising. When we checked in, Destiny, who by the way is an amazing employee, said that we could have the whole hour they would still be there. At 11:45 the first employee came and told us to clear courts time to leave. We discussed with her how we were told we could stay. She said had to speak to the manager. That is when Jerimah came. Absolutely rude and zero customer service skills. At that point it was 10-15 more minutes left of playing time. He could have easily accommodated us since listed hours was till 1am. After spending some time talking with Jeremiah we left. At this point it was 12:20. We asked for a refund and he claimed he had no idea how to do it. Long story short, save your money bad service isn’t worth it to go there for the hefty price tag. Hope the owners recognize this and make changes or this is how businesses go under.

Negative experience: If I could put less I would. Great concept and fun place but you don't get your full hour if you come after 11 even though you are told you will and they are open till 1am. Employees were ready with bags and walking out the door at 1210 including the manager Jeramiah. Why not let your group finish their hour since you are technically open till 1? Isn't that just good customer service? Pay $50 for an hour on a court and you cant let us play for 20 more minutes and finish the hour? The published timings should show 12 not 1 online, on the door, right by the register while you pay. Disappointed that this local establishment seems to not care about the locals. Destiny is the only good person working at this establishment and personally I want to help her find a better job.

Negative experience: We came here specifically because their hours said they were open until 1AM, and we booked a full hour expecting to be able to use all of it. Instead, we were told to leave early and didn’t even get the full time we paid for. No explanation, no heads-up, and definitely no apology. It felt like they just wanted to close up early and didn’t care that we had made plans around the posted schedule. Super unprofessional and frustrating. If you’re advertising late hours, you should honor them. Definitely won’t be coming back, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for a reliable spot to play. Negative experience: Workers are horrible. Place says it is open till 1 am but the workers kick people out at 12 because they want to go home and they will scam you and not give you your full time NEVER come here. Positive experience: The pickeball courts need some TLC. Some areas of the court have dips and surfaces that are not even. The fences looks like they can get a makeover. I enjoy coming here but please maintain the facility, especially the courts. Some parts the AC leaks water on the court also!

Positive experience: There are lots of options for food, drinks, and things to do (both for free and paid). We really enjoyed the digital darts, corn hole, connect 4, and arcade. We went in the middle of a weekday, so the staffing was a little light. Will definitely go back, though!

Negative experience: Do not go there! You cannot order food without submitting your PHONE NUMBER. Oh and they will promise you that they won't sell it but we all know they WILL! They make their money by selling your information. And if they don't sell it they will be hacked and it will be stolen. Negative experience: Literally paid for axe throwing and a guy set us up with the instructions. Then 20 minutes into playing, another guy said we weren’t in the system even though our account got charged. So then said we “should” get a refund and would have to pay again. Employee was rude and other employee that rung us up just sat there and watched us basically get sent out and did not say anything.

In some cases, there can be an issue with debit or credit card transactions where the payment doesn't fully process on our end. It might look like a charge is pending on your account, but if there was an error in the middle of the transaction, the funds never process through on our system. The "pending" amount drops off after a short period, and you won’t be charged.
That said, we’d love to check in with you—was this ever resolved on your end? Did the charge go through, or did the hold eventually fall off? If you're still seeing the charge or have any doubts, please feel free to reach out to us directly, and we’ll be happy to look into it further!!

Negative experience: Tl;Dr Maybe good for young kids, not if you want to just play pickleball. Came to specifically try out the pickleball courts. I have a group that plays regularly at City Park and The Exchange in town. Price at Pickle n Pins lands between those two. Pros: Cheapest book-in-advance air conditioned space I'm aware of in the city. If you had a group that also wanted to play darts, bowling, etc, this might be a place to entertain them too. Cons: The vibe is just off. It's an open warehouse that feels like every bar and smokers lounge game from the 90's shoved in haphazardly. Echos like crazy, and I could barely talk loud enough to have my pickleball partner 6' away hear me. No chance of screaming across the court to be heard. LOTS of kids, so catering to families may be their thing. Pickleball courts are split by 4' tall fences, so expect balls to go everywhere.

Positive experience: I absolutely loved this place for the most part. Amazing courts, and designs. One thing I didn't like was that the staff had lots of attitude. I asked for the wifi password and she seemed real disgusted and gave me a look. Despite that, my friends and I had lots of fun.

Negative experience: Bartender was amazing and friendly then the experience went down hill from there. We paid for the bowling and it was terrible its a ⅓ of a lane, and isn't enjoyable for adults, which this place promotes. I asked to switch attractions because it was boring, but the manager had an attitude and argued with us back and forth about how we should have went looked at the bowling before paying for it. When we booked online and them even telling people to go look before paying for it, is telling me that other's hadn't enjoyed the bowling either. The food took at least an hour but still was cold. The sliders was the only well made item we received. Overall has potential but not with the current manager or attractions.

Fantastic experience: We celebrated my son’s 7th birthday party at Pickle N Pins yesterday afternoon and we had such a wonderful experience! Thank you to the amazing staff who checked in on us and were helpful and courteous the whole time. The facility is fabulous and super fun for both kids and adults. We spent most of our time playing on the pickleball courts, but corn hole, ping pong, shuffle board and the arcade were all popular as well. We loved the food and drink options (special shout out to the bartender Kristen!). Everything was so easy and well done. Highly recommend everyone check this place out. So glad to have Pickle N Pins locally in the New Orleans area - we will be back to support soon!

Fantastic experience: I was soo shocked to see bad reviews I had to get on here n say something!! Man this place was dope perfect for a guys night out or wven if you got kids . The quality of the ingredients and the rich, bold flavors make them a standout item that we’re confident is worth the price that is set for it.
As for the fountain drink refills, we apologize that we do not have servers as our food hall is designed to replicate the feel of an indoor food truck park, where guests can enjoy a casual, self-serve dining experience, like many other self-serve establishments in the area.

Negative experience: i’m not going to lie, it’s a great place to take children for fun time. however, if you are coming here for food and drinks please think twice. the food is gross, flavorless to say the least, i think great value (walmart) is a wayyyy better brand for taste. I’m aware it’s bar food but it’s truly tasteless, cold… it taste like recycled food reheated. the frozen drinks are tasteless and for some reason everyone who works here seems to hate life. Opt for shots and come fed on a busy day, and probably you’ll have a great time!

Negative experience: I was surprised by the price charged to play padel ($60). I think this is high considering the playing surface is ok not great. It felt like playing on turf from the 90's. Other than that the atmosphere was great. Being the only place in Metairie to play padel we will be going back.

Thank you for your feedback about Padel. The turf surface for Padel has specific guidelines on the type of turf that the sport is played on. The sand on the surface is to help prevent injury and allows for consistent ball behavior but how much sand is used can vary from location to location. We accept feedback from our local players to adjust for those that frequent the courts. We’ve recently added more sand from when we opened because of this feedback.
Regarding pricing, there was nothing to really compare against in Louisiana because we are the only Padel courts around but in looking at Padel places throughout the country, we have seen court rentals go for much more and while that may be normal in some areas, we felt the price we settled with was fair and on the lower end of a lot of businesses we researched. There are multiple ways to get a cheaper price, however. If you come during our non-peak times the hourly rate is lower. Also, with monthly memberships, you would be able to drop the rental price by 50% every time you book. If you plan to play often, this is a great option to explore!

Negative experience: You'd think for a place like this the owners and manager would listen to there employees…THEY DONT! They just throw yell commands at you without any actual logic being involved and when you start to involve logics & facts they run away from the conversation,dismiss you or act like your trying to take there positions and ALL you were doing was actually thinking and caring about the establishment.The manager never listens or hears his employees out which is bad when you realize the workers are the actual face of the building when you walk in, the owners ONLY want to talk to manager and not the actual employees (highly odd) and they dont even have a HR!!! i and other customers like myself see there’s alot of voices in that building that need to be heard that are just being dismissed (which is bad because a good bit of things they want/need to say is on behalf of customers, half of them coming to the employees simply because they were ignored by the manager initially) and last time i checked a manager isnt supposed to be playing in the arcade ,flirting with customers,and practicing his golf strokes in the middle of the building. And how do you hire a manager that doesn’t even want to be there he leaves mid-shift(sometimes early afternoon and is just gone majority of the time(which ends up causing even more of a problem in the building when hes the only one that can fix certain things ). DO BETTER PNP..DO BETTER!!!

Negative experience: I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at Pickle N Pins in Metairie. My guest and I were refused entry because my guest is 20, and apparently, no one under 21 is allowed after 7 PM. This rule was not explicitly stated on the website, and had it been clear, we would not have wasted an hour on transportation. To make matters worse, they only refunded my payment as credit instead of refunding it to my account. The inconsistency in enforcing this rule is frustrating—I've seen under-21 patrons here after 7 PM before. The manager was rude, and the staff showed zero understanding of our situation. I expected better organization and customer service. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning unless this is adequately addressed and reconciled.

We want to clarify that our website & pinned social media posts state both our operating hours and age restrictions. When booking a reservation online for any of our activities, it will include on our page that we do not issue refunds for age restrictions upon arrival, but we will issue a credit. We understand that these policies may be foreign to guests, as we are a relatively new establishment.
We are continuously working to expand our communication channels to ensure that all guests are aware of our policies before arrival. We do apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused you and your guests.
Negative experience: Bar tender was amazing. Ordered food that took 45mins to come out and it was cold and the grilled fish were rubbery. I went to the front desk to ask for assistance and no one was there. We saw the bad reviews and decided to come anyway. Don’t waste your money go somewhere else.

Positive experience: The duck pin bowling was fun and it’s a laid back vibe. I wish we listened to music instead of hearing the boxing match for over three hours. I ordered what I thought to be 3 tacos for $6 but it was only one mini taco. The menu on the kiosk is misleading with a picture of three tacos but only get one. I don’t recall reading it was only one in the description on the kiosk but when you scan the bar code on the table, the menu looks totally different and it is specified there. Wish I would’ve known before purchasing a mini taco for six dollars. Literally one bite and it was gone.

Positive experience: Really fun concept! The atmosphere was lively and engaging, which made for an enjoyable outing overall. However, the prices felt a bit steep, especially for drinks—expect to pay over $6 for a domestic beer and over $8 for a craft option. My biggest disappointment, though, was the lack of basic amenities in the bathroom. For a place that seems geared toward families, it was surprising not to find a changing table or even a trash can in there. These small improvements would make a big difference, especially for parents.

Positive experience: It’s a nice place really big & I love the way everything is set up.However when we ordered the food on the kiosk the street tacos on there has a picture of three street tacos .I got the text saying my food was ordered however i never received the text saying my food was ready UNTIL we got ready to leave.Then there were only one taco sitting on a pan .The man said yes it’s one taco for 5 dollars even though the picture shows three that is false advertisement.

Negative experience: Had to cancel my reservation this past monday, unfortunately. However, I cancelled well before 2 hours of my reservation but my card was still charged, and I have not been able to get a hold of anyone via phone any time of the day

Negative experience: I attended the grand opening of Pickle n Pins on 10/16/24 and was extremely disappointed by the treatment I received. I arrived early and asked the front desk about the transition between the free pickleball time and the private event from 7-9 pm. The staff seemed unsure but said it would be obvious if we needed to clear the building. While enjoying a game around 6:45 pm, I was approached by Emily and two male staff members who were standing on the outside of the court for about 10 minutes without saying anything. They then approached me to tell me there was a private event at 7 pm and that we had to get off the court, although I was already on the list for the event. I advised her that I was in fact here for the event and was confused why I had to get off the court if there weren’t pickleball sign ups and no one was waiting. She confirmed I was on the list and I asked her who was waiting because I didn’t see anyone present and she said well I guess no one. What made this encounter worse was that none of the other courts were approached in the same way, this seemed like a very targeted situation. Emily’s approach was accusatory, and her lack of customer service, especially for a new business, was disappointing. Instead of asking if I was there for the private event, she made assumptions, and this left a sour taste. I planned to purchase two memberships but walked out without spending a dime. To make matters worse, I called the next day (10/17) to speak with a manager, was put on hold for 10 minutes, and was told a manager was not available. I left my information and still haven’t heard back. I called again today, 10/22, held for 15 minutes with no resolution. This review is my last resort after receiving no follow-up. As a new establishment trying to attract pickleball player memberships, this is not a good look! Especially because we have other options such as The ExchangeNOLA and can receive better service. Update- As of 10/30/24 I still haven’t heard from anyone in management, per their reply below. Terrible way to do business!

Negative experience: I don’t love giving 1 star reviews, but I felt like every good thing about this place was negated by something else. My wife and I had food, drinks, bowled, and had issues with each. We first ordered food on kiosks and entered my phone number to be texted when it was ready. Instantly got a confirmation text, but 20+ minutes later and still no “food is ready” text. I went up to the counter to see our food already sitting there (not sure how long) so I asked why I never got the “ready” text and got an “it’s the system” excuse (even though the system was able to send me a confirmation text with my order number). Next, we didn’t know how to start bowling so we found the front desk and they informed us that there is no Bay 15 that we signed up for. That’s just a way the system recognizes Bay 8 I guess? No matter, we went over to our bay which wasn’t ready and working at our reservation time. I asked an associate for help and was told the system had just rebooted and she would look into it and let me know how to proceed. 11 minutes later my wife had to go find her and finally got the bay working. The bowling itself wasn’t bad, I can see the appeal to some. Finally, we had also gotten two rounds of drinks from different bartenders. Don’t do that because apparently they can’t close your tab at once and I had to close out different transactions because I was told the bartenders have “different numbers”. It doubled the time I had away from bowling over what I think is silliness to be quite honest. Overall, regardless of what I feel this place could become, it’s rough whenever you spend $100 on bowling, food, and drinks for 2 and every facet has problems.

Positive experience: The games, atmosphere and people that work here are awesome! The only problem is that it seemed understaffed. The employees were super nice and helpful but were busting their butts and seemed like they could use more employees. One poor employee said they were there for 12 hours today and had to be back early in the morning. They were tired but still very sweet and helpful!

Positive experience: Food was great, a little expensive. I think we liked the duckpin bowling and the interactive dart board the most. I recommend the dart board for everyone to try. Many different games to play on there. Arcade is expensive, 2$ per arcade game.

Positive experience: I visited on the opening day and had a good time playing pickleball. The atmosphere is top-notch. The spacious courts and general area make it a great spot whether you’re looking to play or just have a good time with friends. Definitely one of the better spots I’ve seen for a casual hangout. The service was excellent as well. The staff were friendly and attentive, adding to the overall positive vibe of the place. However, the food left more to be desired. I was expecting something closer to Walk-On’s level, but unfortunately, it fell short in terms of both flavor and quality. The pictures on the menu were not accurate to the actual food. If they step up the food game, this place would be an all-around winner. Next time I’d like to try some of the other games available (darts, bowling, axe throwing).

Positive experience: Went here with friends on their first day open for pickle ball and hanging out. It was a super nice place and everyone was so friendly. We ordered mozzarella sticks, pizza, quesadillas, sliders, chicken tenders and fries. The food left more to be desired but I definitely think they can approve and tweak. Our favorites were the sliders and quesadillas. My pizza needed more sauce and the peppers and onions on top could be cooked longer. Everything was also fairly priced. We will definitely be back and I’m excited to try more menu items.
